Commercial fashion is aimed at promoting a specific brand,
company or product for example retailers such as (Argos) create annual
catalogues to promote their products to customers. Commercial fashion is
summarized under the advertising category. Commercial photography is concerned
with selling a product so you should expect to see more emphasis based upon the
product rather than the surroundings e.g. a model dressed in bright coloured
clothing against a white background.
Famous sports clubs and people such as David Beckham, Roger Federer and
Manchester United football club will be used to advertise sports clothing.

Studio fashions involves creating unique pieces of clothing,
jewellery and footwear, for example designers like (Yves Saint Laurent) work in
studio settings to create unique pieces of fashion using compositional and
technological techniques. Furthermore Studio fashion is used heavily by fashion
magazines like (Prada). Photographers can create unique images by creating
dynamic poses that can reflect emotion and energy.

Location fashion is used to add a

tourist and business hot spots like Madrid, Milan, London, New York and Paris
these cities are the birth places of high end fashion industries and are sought
after by critics and fashion magazines. Furthermore these locations contain
famous landmarks like the Eiffel tower and Big Ben.
