The aspect that stands out in this image is the background,
I enjoy viewing the stencil like lines on the wood it creates a detailed
pattern effect, it also guides the viewer towards the focal point of the image
which is the bulb. I shined a torch directs at the bulb this has created a bright
white glow effect which pulls the viewer into the centre of the image. The blue
and purple colours create a harmonising image which adds a tranquil feel,
furthermore the colours tones are bright but not overwhelming.
I captured a landscape shot through this bulb, the shallow
depth of field adds emphasis to the bulb it also creates a distorted effect on
the background, the sunshine also creates a bright white glow effect in parts
of the image this creates an eye catching effect. Furthermore the purple sky
adds a surreal effect.
I shot this bulb in front of a fire place, the colour tones
are extremely bright and conflicting this creates an eye catching image but I
think it may be overwhelming for some viewers. The swirl patterned thread adds
detail within the image.
I shot this image using a slow shutter speed, the dark
background allows me to add more emphasizes to the focal point. The purple
colour is consistent throughout the image this creates a harmonising theme. The flame contains a bright white glow which
attracts people.
I chose to capture this image with a slow shutter speed
against a dark background, because I wanted to capture the glow coming from the
flame. The glow effect coming from the flame is very attractive, I believe the
green colour helps make the image look eye catching and unique. There is also a
reflective effect against the bulb which creates detail within the image. Furthermore
there is also leading lines within the centre of the image this Is great when
directive the viewer to the focal point of any image.
This image is very interesting because I used a slow shutter
speed to create a circular motion effect, the white light also help create a
strong contrast, and the purple coloured theme makes an overall harmonising
image.
This is the second image which I shot with a live fire, I
used a slow shutter speed to capture the flame effect. The black line located at
the base of the image guides the viewer along the entire image this help the
photographer add emphasis to the focal point of an image.
This is the third image I shot using a live flame, again I
used a slow shutter speed to capture the same effect as it rises .I used
Photoshop to edit the saturation to create a green and purple flame, this
effect is great because it emulates a Halloween type theme.
I shot this image within a mesh case, this has allowed me to
use a triangular pattern effect throughout my image. The mesh cage also creates
curve like effect on the right hand side, the texture is also very clear and smooth his attention to detail can attract people towards my image.
The interesting feature within this image is the colour and
white haze effect which can be seen on the left hand side of the bulb. The blue
colour is extremely rich and vibrant, it also contains dark and light shades
this variation is attractive. Furthermore the slow shutter speed has captured a
sparkling effect on the bulb this again makes the image more attractive and
attention grabbing. By using rule of thirds and placing my bulb directly in the
centre I am expressing that the bulb is the focal point of this image it is the
first area the viewer looks towards.
