I enjoy looking at this image because of the two contrasting sections , The earthy colours were emphasised by the natural light which made it look brighter, the barrier between the two creates a line cutting through the middle of the image, Birds eye view allowed me to capture all the detail within the frame.

When shooting this image, I analysed my surroundings to find a gold toned background to blend in with my watch, the overall tone create a harmonious effect this adds a warm and inviting feel. the only area of the image that does not harmonize with its surroundings is the dial it creates a contrast this aspect pulls the viewer in.

I wrapped the watch against a tree branch this allowed me to capture the background at an elevated position, i was able to capture a close up of the watch and i used depth of field to blur the undergrowth. the gold watch and green background create a strong contrast which is essential in any image, furthermore the tree trunk adds leading lines which cut through the left hand side.

this image would be great as a magazine cover,  i used a portrait format this allowed me capture the blue and black tones within the water, the majority of the image is overwhelmed by this dark colour tone and a small section to the top left corner is used to display my subject this forces the viewer to look towards the subject furthermore it adds a sense of simplicity to the image. you can also see the circular ripples within the water this creates a pattern effect which adds detail, the leaves are the only bright coloured objects within the frame this makes adds a contrast.

It is similar to image 45, i used a close up and a bird's eye view angle to capture my subject, the tones are very subtle making the viewer feel relaxed, the flowing water adds a patterns effect it also creates a circular shape around the subject this bases more importance to the watch.

Natural light is the main factor which affects this image to my advantage, it emphsise the colour and brightness of objects, natural light has also create a shadow which ends at the base this is useful when directing the viewer towards my watch. Landscape format allows me to capture more of the background to add detail and objects that viewers may find interesting and eye catching.
