Evaluating images Photoshoot 1

I shot this because it contains vibrant fiery colours and leading lines, I notices the the lines contain a dark colours tone which creates a strong contrast against the red mahogany wood. The colours is very eye-catching it is a great way to attract people.

This image caught my attention because it contains a wave like pattern,it almost looks like a ripple effect, this design is odd to see on a plank of wood, some viewers may like this feature. The colours are earthy and natural it is neutral and soft, the base of the image contains dark tones but gradually lightens as you look further up the image, this is a good technique to guide viewers through my image.

The feature which stands out within this image is the texture, it is very detailed you can feel the roughness of the subject. The simple crack running horizontally through the centre is great way to guide the viewer along the image, the colour is rich and warm it looks inviting. The tone is not overwhelming it is neutral.

This image is similar to the above image in terms of colour and texture, it contains a warm and rich texture which welcomes viewers towards it, the texture is extremely detailed you can feel the the roughness of the subject. The wood fragments create a consistent patterns effect through the image. Which may be appealing to some viewers. Moreover is also a strong contrast towards the base of the image this is useful when creating an eye-catching image.

I shot this image of a flower, the feature which stands out is the organic shapes, it looks like a red cloud spreading through the skyline tones within the image are contrasting and subtle this creates a conflict within the image. The red colour is extremely striking this will attract viewers towards the image but it may be too overwhelming for them resulting in not being able to retain their attention for long.

This image is very beautiful it captures the detail within the flower, the overall colour is vibrant and attractive, the consistent colour and soft texture creates a harmonising image which makes viewers feel relaxed. The yellow pollen from the flower creates a contrast which attracts people to the centre and the petals contains leading lines which guide the viewer out of the centre to the rest of the image.

This image is appealing to me because of the contrast, the right hand side of the image has light passing through it, which in turn allows viewers to see the detail within the leaf. The left hand side of the image shows the surface of the leaf, this not only creates a strong contrast but it also shows the difference sunlight can make to nature it drastically changes its features.
