Style

I will recreate a 1930s prohibition Gangster styled shoot, the props I will be using are mainly formal, which are;

·         White shirt

·         Black trousers

·         Black tie

·         Black trench coat

·         Fake cigar

The hairstyle is also important because during the 1930s men would slick their hair back or to the sides using Pomade, this was seen as a smart and formal dress code. I will make sure my model groomed with a clean shave and slick hair.

Location

For my location will be shooting within Saltaire it is a victorian village which in 2001 was regarded as a world heritage site by UNESCO, the town was built on the river Aire by sir Titus Salt it contains old features such as a bridge with retro iron bars and brickwork, old monuments with beautiful carved stone and wide staircases.

Lighting

i will be photographing within day light hours so the majority of my shoot will require me to use natural light, although i may require artificial light when photographing within enclosed enviroments for example i will require artificial light when shooting under a bridge.  

Health and Safety

I have emergency contact numbers for me and my model, it will be dark within the park and there is no lighting so we will bring torches and reflective clothing.

There are many dangers when photographing near rivers, one of the most common injuries can occur from tripping over objects or slipping on ice during winter. If any Injuries do occur I am aware of the location and I will inform family members and the emergency services. 

The location I will be shooting in contains similar features compared to this image, I aim to create a similar effect, I will be shooting during the sunset house so shadows will be a significant part of my image I will try to create a shadow of my model within the background of the frame, furthermore my images will contain contrast but I must ensure that this is not overwhelming. 

Goals and Plans for Implementation

The main aim of my photo-shoot is to create a dark and mysterious theme, this theme will allow me to control the viewer’s feelings it will have a specific feature such as shadows and dark colour tones
